Was there a particular reason for the engine to be there Bill? Or is it 'stationed' there precautionary?

An ambulance also rolled up, not using lights and sirens, so I suspect they were in the nearby building site possibly carrying out an inspection.

Neither the engine or ambulance crew carry out inspections, Reedy Creek has a large fire prevention crew that handles that. This was probably a non-emergency medical call, and they didn't use their lights on scene since they were in a sectioned off area

Also, Reedy Creek has a Ford Transit car which stages at Downtown Disney for medical calls

Walt Disney World,Florida have their own fire department on site. The only pictures I have though are taken inside station pictures which my good lady took for me and are not very clear shots of the apparatus, and sorry pictures are rather dark.

Well if you're ever in the area I suggest stopping by their stations. At station 1 they have a guided tour between certain hours.
