Forgot to say : Bordeaux FD had a Hi Ranger 25m on a UNIC chassis and Marseille FD had a Hi Ranger 25m on a Mercedes chassis

I grew up in Philly and remember the 60s well, including this unusual vehicle. During the 60s, PFD was buying mostly International cab-forward commercial chassis for pumpers and special vehicles like this. (Tillers were mostly on custom chassis like ALF and Seagrave.) In recent years, the vast majority of PFD's apparatus has been on custom chassis like KME. Thanks for posting this elevating arm -- I haven't seen one of those Internationals in many years.
